How do you create educational apps that cross over the physical / digital toy space?

iLearn 'n' Play needed to develop a range of apps to integrate with their range of educational toys - targeting children 3-5 years. But these couldn't be any old apps - they had to have a grounding in pure education that would work right around the world and they needed to work seamlessly with the toys.

So, with our educational team, we created a Global Curriculum to reinforce the brand, validate the app development and ensure the physical product was developed to the highest educational standards.

We built a suite of 12 educational apps in native iOS and AIR within a 4-month period and successfully launched the product across the USA in Target and Walmart. The Rest of the World roll out followed immediately after and we helped define the "app enabled" toy category.
