Making hotels more family friendly

What does the next generation of active family holiday destinations need to look like?

First Choice approached us wanting to explore the potential in developing a range of family engagement tactics, building true "family holiday destinations".

We investigated how the soft experience - the people, the F&B and the entertainment programme could be enhanced by development of physical aspects of the resorts.

We worked across four hotels - each a different category - and undertook stakeholder interviews with staff and guests; following the entire touch point cycle of the family holiday.

We revolutionised the entire family proposition for First Choice. The output of the project created a differentiated proposition for families and led to some hotels having built-in waterparks.
