Senior Digital Designer - Kids Families Marketing

The world’s leading Research, Strategy and Creative Agency for the kids and family market is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Designer to join our creative team. You will have a strong portfolio demonstrating work full of beautiful and clever branding and digital work. You will show a keen interest in the latest design and digital trends.

You’ll work closely with our Creative Director, producers and developers - currently based remotely - to produce exciting branding and content for our international clients. You’ll have an eye for visual impacts and be able to translate requirements quickly into ideas, eye-catching designs and character animations will be hugely advantageous.

Key Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of industry-standard creative suites essential - especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch/Adobe XD, ideally one 3D Software (Unity, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max) and basic knowledge of After Effects
  • Great visual design skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Experience working closely with brand guidelines
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS and experience of working closely with Front-end developers
  • Ability to confidently present your work to a variety of stakeholders and justify all design decisions
  • A good understanding of user experience principles and user interface design
  • Possess an understanding of interactive UX and UI - Knowledge of web and mobile accessibility issues
  • Experience in Keynote, Google Docs and Powerpoint would be advantageous

Key Experience:

  • Design skills that extend beyond digital into branding, typography, animation, etc.
  • Deep understanding of digital tools, trends and foundation
  • Has intermediate level experience working with motion or animation software. (After Effects)
  • Has strong knowledge of usability and interaction design

  • Articulating design ideas and solutions in a compelling way to clients and colleagues
  • Taking ownership and being solely responsible for the design output of a project
  • Collaborating with the client and various disciplines within Kids Industries
  • Ensuring work adheres to budget and time constraints
  • Solving problems with innovative visual solutions
  • Creating industry-leading design work that pushes and inspires the studio
  • Working with creative leads daily to make remarkable work
  • Supporting the new business team in creating outstanding pitch design creative
  • Provide accurate time estimates to digital producers on upcoming client projects
