Kids Industries requires a Technical Project Manager/Producer to lead and help deliver exciting digital projects.

You will be passionate about delivering experiences with purpose, alongside a proven track record of delivering technical, complex digital projects, which will include mobile apps and games.

As Technical Project Manager, you will have ownership and responsibility for delivering a large-scale programme of work.

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of individual projects, from concept to delivery, ultimately responsible for planning and coordinating activities to ensure that the project outcomes are positive, project goals are accomplished and client needs are met.

In addition to bringing 5+ years of project management experience, we are looking for someone who is a brilliant communicator, confident in working directly with clients, unflappable in nature with a great attention to detail and who is really good at explaining technical complexity to a non-technical audience.

  • At least 5 years+ experience as a Technical Producer or Project Manager.

  • A background working in a creative/digital agency would be beneficial.

Planning & Delivery:

  • Demonstrate excellent skills in effective programme planning, management and delivery of multiple work-streams, dependencies, risk and issue analysis, budget control and reporting.

  • Demonstrate excellent skills in effective project setup, scoping, traffic, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance, with proven experience of managing a programme of work/multiple workstreams.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams from design, art and development, as well as external partners & clients.

  • Be comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver a mixture of creative experiences (including web, installations, mobile and console).

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, budget trackers, status reports and risk and issue logs, and work closely with the Production Director to carefully manage the client’s expectations.

  • Ensure all documentation is produced in a timely manner and kept up to date and are clear and precise - proposal, scope of work, budget, timeline etc.

  • Have oversight of the projects within the programme, working with the team of producers to ensure they are delivered to schedule, and within agreed margin and budget variances set at the beginning of the project

  • Be adaptive and proactive to retain control of the programme and projects – whether you predict change or it’s sprung on you, you are responsible for proposing a plan B.

  • Communicate well within your project team so that everyone is aware of the vision, requirements, deadlines, dependencies and any risks or issues.

  • Communicate the status of your projects both internally to management and to the client, and actively manage risks and issues.

  • Monitor the budget, margin and costs from estimate to completion and report on these weekly.

  • Ensure revenue & cost recognition across the project is kept accurate and up to date at all times as well as working closely with the Production Director to ensure accurate pipeline forecasting.

  • Work with the Operations Director to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment of third-party suppliers.
