Hello there. KI was the very first agency to specialise in the family market, and we’re super-happy to be recognised as the leading global Insight, Strategy and Creative Agency in the kids and family sector in the whole wide world.

If you’ve ever wanted to work with the likes of Pokemon, Viacom, Universal, Royal Caribbean, Amazon and a whole list of other household name clients and do high-end, strategic work that has a direct impact on their business, then this might be the place for you.

We’re a dedicated team of marketers, designers, researchers, producers, developers, and strategists, and we’re all pulling together to make new things for the family every single day.

We pinch ourselves sometimes as we partner with the very best global (and local) businesses spanning start-ups to market leaders, to build their family-focused brands into world-beaters. Our business is growing very rapidly, and it is an incredibly exciting time - really, really exciting.

And that’s why we need to bolster our multi-award-winning team with a Senior Account Manager who wants to be a significant part of our future.

You will work closely with all levels of the agency, supporting day to day management of clients: from shaping creative briefs, scoping complex budgets, resourcing, and briefing creatives through to pitching and identifying new opportunities.

We’d need someone to establish themselves as the key go-to person for their clients, managing expectations, advising on insight, strategy and creative whilst building exceptional trusting partnerships.

Through tight-knit client relationships and by using your natural commercial awareness, you'll be able to organically identify opportunities for development and drive growth - but not just any growth. We’re very serious about our purpose and our values. We work with family brands, after all.

Whilst you'll be heavily client-facing, you'll absolutely get stuck in with project planning and management of work spanning insight, branding, experiential, strategy, print, digital and consultancy.

SO, WHAT SORT OF EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED?

  • You will likely have spent 3 -5 years managing clients and projects in an agency environment within the marketing services sector and none of the bullet points under this one will make you in the least bit uncomfortable
  • Growing clients across service breadth and depth through excellence - we really do deliver, so it isn't that hard; you just need to get on with it
  • Assuming direct accountability for revenue and gross margin
  • You will definitely have a strong understanding of the broader marketing industry and disciplines
  • Managing multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder, multi-national clients
  • An uncanny ability to translate strategic business objectives into actions for the agency and effectively communicate them
  • Absolutely you’ll need strong account management and client service skills gained in an agency - no point applying otherwise
  • You’ll absolutely love preparing proposals and budgets that are unique and maybe unlike anything you’ve done before - of course, you get the kick of winning the business, and we’re good at that
  • Super happy owning a campaign and managing analytics and KPI measurement reporting
  • You’ll have to get things over the line with style and ease - we love a timeline, and we’re very delivery focused
  • Building lasting and trusting relationships that really matter is second nature to you; it has to be, right?
  • You must enjoy being offered new directions and the unknown to explore - we do things all the time that no one has ever done before. You will be outside your  comfort zone - but that’s where it’s fun, so it’s fine

What’s in it for you?

We think we’re about as competitive as it gets and we’re committed to doing all we can to make work the very best experience for everyone.

  • We pay well, and we have high-quality, free health insurance
  • There’s a company pension scheme, and yes, you do need to be thinking about it now
  • 20 days holiday, plus all Bank Holidays (obviously) and we’re totally closed over Christmas and New Year
  • If you wake up feeling like you want to put your head under the covers then you can because we offer two duvet days a year - so it’s really 22 days holiday
  • We clock off a bit early on a Friday
  • We invest in you. Structured training opportunities and development plans that make you an expert. No, really
  • Free food, drink and goodies in the office. You need never buy breakfast again. And yes, there is a beer and wine fridge too.
  • We are committed to a healthy work-life balance
  • Amazing opportunities for career progression - you will get to do things your peers dream of
  • We’ve got a lovely cycle to work scheme if you love a bike ride
  • And finally, the work, strange but true. Working with children and family audiences is all about making a business fun and if you let it, it can be. Take a look at our site to see the kinds of things we do…and there are tonnes more that we have to keep quiet about. Some of it will blow your mind.
