We are looking for a creative and strategic Part-Time Social Media Manager on a 3 to 6-month contract. In this role, you will manage and execute social media strategies for our clients, focusing on increasing engagement, brand awareness, audience interaction and community building across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in social media management, a strong understanding of family and parenting audiences, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our broader team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive social media strategies tailored for client projects targeting the US audience and Kids Industries’ social channels.
  • Content Creation & Management: Plan, create, and publish engaging content across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest, ensuring content aligns with brand objectives.
  • Community Management: Oversee and manage social media communities, ensuring timely responses to comments, messages, and inquiries. Cultivate a positive and engaging online presence.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify, collaborate, and manage influencer relationships to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyse social media metrics and prepare detailed reports to track performance against key objectives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Campaign Management: Execute and manage social media campaigns, including paid initiatives, to drive engagement and brand growth.
  • Client Communication & Collaboration: Participate in client meetings to understand their goals and provide strategic insights. Support in presenting strategies, insights, or recommendations and assist in workshops and group discussions.
  • Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools and incorporate relevant trends into ongoing strategies to keep brands ahead of the curve.

Qualifications & Key Skillset 

  • Proven Experience: You have demonstrable 3+ years of experience working with consumer-led brands that achieve high levels of social engagement. Ideally, with the family and parental-focused brands. Particularly in the US and across various sectors.
  • Creative & Strategic: You can generate ideas that resonate with audiences, especially in sectors like kids & family, toys, entertainment, and FMCG.
  • Social Media Enthusiast: You’re passionate about using social media to achieve business goals and stay on top of trends, which you can demonstrate through your previous case studies.
  • Platform Expertise: You have a deep understanding of the mechanics and workings of social media platforms, including Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and all relevant social media metrics.
  • Influencer Campaigns: Have led the planning, execution, and management of influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximising ROI. Can demonstrate a track record of successful influencer partnerships.
  • Paid Social Experience: You have relevant experience setting up paid social campaigns across various platforms. Can support the strategy team with any social media planning.
  • Detail-Oriented: You approach every task with precision and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Experienced: You have a proven track record in managing high-engagement social media campaigns and paid social initiatives.
  • Adaptable & Ambitious: You’re ready to grow and succeed in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Communication Skills: You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and take pride in delivering work to a high standard.
