Last week, whilst bouncing around in a jeep across the vast Gobi Desert in Mongolia, our driver made a beeline for a nomads ger on the horizon.
As we approached the ger, it looked much like many others we had seen so far, complete with solar panels and satellite dish. Once inside we were received by a friendly nomad family, who proudly showed off their ger interior, featuring an array of traditional elements that have remained unchanged for centuries.
Apart from one aspect. Hung off the interior wall was their flat-screen TV - from which we were treated to several episodes of Shaun the Sheep as we tucked into an array of animal products.
